Central Process Unit (C.P.U.)
The processor is responsible for processing data for logical and computational operations. It is the main part of the computer. Externally, the CPU is a small square plate covered with a metal plate on top. A metal cover is necessary to protect the microchips. The bottom surface includes a large number of pins. The CPU is installed in a socket on the motherboard, been connected to the memory system and the input and output devices.
